Tribute to Legalisation of Homebrewing. The Italian Centre Mosaic unveiled in Little Italy July 6th 2012. The mosaic is a tribute to current owner Teresa Spinelli’s father Franco who was instrumental in changing Prohibition laws that allowed the making of wine but not storing it. Lead Artist Theodora Harasymiw and her assistant Erin Pankratz Smith laid 12 000 pieces in two months to create this beauty.
